Dr. Vachhani will do the necessary tests including labs, biopsy, mutation/genetic testing, FLOW at center. Patients do not require a confirmed diagnosis prior to initial appointment. If they have been to an allergist/immunologist, then records (note, labs) from that office would be beneficial to have for appointment.
Dr. Vachhani received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar and completed a residency in internal medicine from the Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems. He went on to a hematology/oncology fellowship at the University at Buffalo/Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center where he also served as a chief fellow. Dr. Vachhani’s primary interest is in hematological malignancies, particularly acute myeloid leukemia (AML), myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), and mastocytosis. His specific research interests include developmental therapeutics and clinical trials for patients with myeloid malignancies.
