Ivan Alvarez-Twose is the Coordinator of the Intituto de Estudios de Mastocitosis de Castilla La Mancha (CLMast), the only officially recognized Reference Center for Mastocytosis in Spain. Every year, this center sees up to 250 new patients , 60% of which are diagnosed with mastocytosis and 30% with mast cell activation syndromes.
