I have been in private practice in Allergy/Immunology for 28 years. I treat a full range of asthma allergy and primary immunodeficiency patients. For the past 15 years I have been a principal investigator for 9 clinical trials on severe asthma. After attending a number of seminars on mast cell biology and mast cell diseases sponsored by the American Academy of Asthma Allergy And Immunology I have developed a keen interest in Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and Mastocytosis. I am currently treating more than 25 patients with Mast Cell Disease (primarily MCAS), I feel Mast Cell disease is an under recognized medical problem which significantly impacts quality of life and the ability to engage in normal daily activities. I find the patients that I care for among the most highly motivated to achieve better health and it is a privilege to assist them in reaching their goals. I continue take courses and stay abreast of the medical literature in order to provide the best care that I can. In many ways, my best education comes from listening to the people that entrust me with their health.
