Cole Shoemaker

On Leave of Absence

Cole Shoemaker is currently on a leave of absence from the TMS board of Directors.

He is a finance professional  with previous nonprofit experience. Cole brings a wealth of experience and passion to his role. Cole previously served in the US Army, where he developed a disciplined approach to problem-solving and leadership. Following his military service, Cole pursued higher education and graduated from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) with a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a focus on finance. After graduation, Cole continued his financial education in pursuit of his MBA.

Cole’s passion for finance is evident in his commitment to helping others achieve their financial goals. While Cole was attending UCCS, he also held an internship at Mt. Carmel Veteran’s Organization where he assisted fellow veterans and their families to provide high-quality financial coaching via individualized counseling sessions. In addition to his role on the board, Cole is deeply involved in volunteer work at TMS, demonstrating his dedication to giving back to the community. Cole serves as a member of the finance committee for TMS, in addition to his role as the Men’s Support Group Leader.

Cole’s connection to TMS is personal as he is diagnosed with MCAS, which is connected to his military service. TMS was a great source of information and peer support which helped to guide Cole to diagnosis and treatment.

Outside of his professional and volunteer roles, Cole is a devoted stay-at-home Dad to his two young daughters. Some hobbies of his include watching sports, going for a walk with his dogs, or working outside on his landscaping.
