It is with great excitement, that we announce the arrival of The Mast Cell Disease Society’s first-ever Executive Director – Lauren Denton.
After completing a rigorous search process over the last three months we are thrilled for Lauren to begin her work with us on Monday, September 14th.
Lauren joins with a decade of experience in the healthcare nonprofit sector and building multi-millions in capacity to enhance health initiatives with world-class health organizations across the nation. She has focused her career on fostering partnerships, sharing her voice for patients, and working to improve health outcomes and the cost of care. Lauren is originally from California and holds a masters in anthropology focused on human development and systemic health patterns.
We are confident that Lauren’s expertise and passion will help expand our reach and impact within our mast cell disease community.
Lauren shares, “this is an incredibly exciting period for The Mast Cell Disease Society and I believe its work through coordinated support, research, advocacy, and education has the potential to transform how healthcare is approached and delivered for our rare disease patients across the globe. I am thrilled to join TMS and look forward to help serve and build capacity for our rare community.”
